MAKE IT MANA
Our Commitment to Sustainability
You may have noticed from our marketing materials and branding that here at MAKE IT MANA we quite like being outdoors. In fact, when we are aren't doing great marketing, we are usually out and about exploring some beautiful parts of the UK.
Because of this, we have become incredibly passionate about sustainability and the everyday impact that we have on our environment. As a marketing agency, we already rely very little on tools or products that pollute our planet. But that doesn't mean we are perfect, far from it.
We know that there are steps we can take to further minimise our impact and we want to inspire other businesses to do the same. For this reason, we are now publishing our sustainability statement to highlight our ongoing commitment.
The statement doesn't cover everything that we know we need to do, but it factors in the actions that we can currently take whilst remaining profitable at our current size. As we grow, so will our commitment to sustainability.
MAKE IT MANA - SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT
At MAKE IT MANA we recognise that our everyday actions have a negative impact on our environment. We are fully committed to lowering this impact as much as possible.
Giving Back & Offsetting
We understand that we are never going to be able to fully cancel all negative impacts we have on the environment. For this reason, we are committing 1% of our entire turnover to green causes every year in an attempt to offset as much as we possibly can.
Where we allocate this sum will depend on where we believe it will be most beneficial at the time of allocation and may be subject to change.
As part of our giving back and offsetting program, we are now working with Offset Earth to offset emissions and create a carbon positive workforce. You can check out our progress and donate to the MAKE IT MANA virtual (and real) forest by clicking the logo below.
Remaining profitable and offering our customers great value will always be of paramount importance to us at MAKE IT MANA. Wherever possible and financially viable it is our policy to:
Only travel to see clients when absolutely necessary and to take the most sustainable mode of transport possible when we do so
To promote environmentally friendly methods for commuting to our office (walking, cycling etc)
To always recycle waste
To avoid the use of paper, opting instead for digital copies such as PDF files
To reuse waste paper wherever possible
To only purchase recycled materials (paper, pencils etc)
To recycle, resell or repurpose equipment that is no longer required (laptops, printers etc)
Products & Services
To always consider whether a product is truly necessary before purchasing
To avoid products of a disposable nature or those that contain single-use plastics
To always take the most environmentally friendly option when making purchases
To always opt for a renewable source of energy over others
For full transparency, this commitment will be printed on our website.
